Andrea Doggett
Director of Educational Strategies & Program Operations
Andrea Doggett is a community-focused and service-driven person and professional. Throughout her life, she has demonstrated a passion for volunteerism and a desire to help others grow and achieve their goals.
After graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition, she set off to Perú with the Peace Corps. What should have been a two-year journey evolved into a nearly 15-year career of building programs, training of trainers, mobilizing the community, and leading teams to improve education and health outcomes.
After eight years in Perú, she returned to the United States to continue this important work in her new community of Sarasota, FL in 2017. She worked for two years leading and growing the Volunteer Program at the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation. For the past four years, she worked at United Way Suncoast supporting Early Learning and Youth Success programs, investments, and partnerships for DeSoto, Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties. She serves as a Client Services and translator volunteer at Mothers Helping Mothers, served as a mentor at our Future Leaders Academy, an advisor for RECESS Education, and on The Patterson Foundation's ESOL/ELL Eco-System workgroup.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, bunny, and nephews, traveling, yoga, Zumba, and exploring nature. She is excited to maximize her skill sets to serve as their Director of Educational Strategies & Program Operations.

Andrea Doggett es una persona y profesional centrada en la comunidad y orientada al servicio. A lo largo de su vida, ha demostrado pasión por el voluntariado y el deseo de ayudar a otros a crecer y alcanzar sus metas.
Después de graduarse de la Universidad Estatal de Colorado con una Licenciatura en Ciencias de los Alimentos y Nutrición Humana, se fue a Perú con el Cuerpo de Paz. Lo que debería haber sido un viaje de dos años se convirtió en una carrera de casi 15 años de creación de programas, capacitación de capacitadores, movilización de la comunidad y liderazgo de equipos para mejorar los resultados de educación y salud.
Después de ocho años en Perú, regresó a los Estados Unidos para continuar este importante trabajo en su nueva comunidad de Sarasota, FL en 2017. Trabajó durante dos años liderando y haciendo crecer el Programa de Voluntariado en la Fundación de Especialistas en Cáncer de Florida. Durante los últimos cuatro años, trabajó en United Way Suncoast apoyando programas, inversiones y asociaciones de aprendizaje temprano y éxito juvenil para los condados de DeSoto, Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough y Pinellas. Andrea también es traductora voluntaria y ofrece Servicios al Cliente en Mothers Helping Mothers, fue mentora en nuestra Academia de Futuros Líderes, asesora de RECESS Education y en el grupo de trabajo del Ecosistema ESOL/ELL de The Patterson Foundation.
En su tiempo libre, le gusta pasar tiempo con su esposo, su conejito y sus sobrinos, viajar, hacer yoga, Zumba y explorar la naturaleza. Está entusiasmada por maximizar sus habilidades para desempeñarse como Directora de estrategias educativas y operaciones de programas.
